iBooks page turn animation

Hi, do you think it’s possible to bring this feature back, even if an option? Also, it is very difficult to regulate brightness now. Before it was on top of the page. Now - do i have to go to settings?

Dark mode settings iBooks- latest update I just did the latest update and can’t find settings for iBooks. I prefer to read with dark mode and the only setting I can find is text size or scrolling. I have also activated dark mode from the main settings and that does not work as well. Thx!

Completely disable animations when switching between desktops Problem: I would like to completely disable animations (sliding + fade-in/fade-out) when switching between desktops on macOS. I've partially solved this problem removing the sliding animation when switching desktops. This is solved by enabling the "Reduce Motion" in System Preferences > Accessibility > Display. However, there is still a very noticeable fade-in/fade-out which is exaggerated - and quite jarring - when trying to move quickly back and forth between desktops. Is there some way to remove this fade-in/fade-out animation? Are there any commands that I can can use? If there is an apple representative/engineer out there who knows the answer to this question, please (please) let me know! Thanks in advance.

Dimming screen in IBooks Is there a mechanism for dimming the font when reading on the iBooks app? Apple seems to have done a redesign of iBooks and you can no longer dim the font/letters on the page (or I can't figure out how). I realize that I am able to adjust the background to black, light, etc. but the letters on the page are so incredibly bright, particularly in the darker background fonts. You used to be able to dim the entire page so that it was not so intense, particularly when you are trying to read at night and wind down. the app changed, and the loss of this feature is significant. I know how to choose the setting the theme settings, and the dark mode, but we’ve lost the ability to customize the brightness of the font on the page.

I agree. There is a ton of this making its appearance in all aspects of Apple operating systems. Apple is becoming Microsoft lite. Example: preferences gone replaced with settings gag me!!!!!!!!

I really like the page animation too. Weirdly though, when I’m reading manga it still has it! But not on novels. I wonder why that is

Thanks Spoehler07, I'd got so used to using the Kindle app that I wasn't aware. Great news and I've done the updates on iPad and phone already.
