Heart rate is inaccurate during my run

I've noticed recently with my Apple Watch Ultra that my heart rate tends to register much higher when I'm running. Lower HR activities like rowing seem to show accurate results. I am using the low battery mode with workouts, so not sure if this may be the problem. Also, I confirmed this by wearing my Garmin watch on the other wrist. In most cases, the Apple Watch shows between 30-40 beats higher than what it should be.

Any way to fix this?

Low Power mode is not suppised to affect HRM but it will agfect oxygen snd irregular beat monitoring

Use Low Power Mode on your Apple Watch - Apple Support

Loose strap, tattoos are the usual culprits for all HRM watches. That large watch may be moving around too much with a loose strap.

I would say loose straps have been the cause of all my false highs on Polar watches. If I really did do 155 at age 71 I would probably burst. A high level flat line or flat plateaus on the chart in the apps usually indicate false readings.

I have not yet had any spikes with Apple Watch but the standard sport band on my SE2 fits really snug on me.
