Ventura Calendar doesn't sync M365 delegates

When I upgraded to Ventura (13.0.1) my calendar lost the ability to update my delegates calendar events. I still see the ones that were there previously, but I can't create new ones or edit existing ones.

Looking at my "Exchange" account in Calendar I can still see the delegate account and it doesn't show any errors. However, trying to re-add the account brings up a dialog box with the following message:

There was an unexpected error with the request (domain EKCADErrorDomain / error 1,015 / description 'XPC error communicating with calaccessd: Unknown error').

Rob_H1,

I did restart and it didn't solve the problem. However, it turns out that the problem was just a small migration issue and easily corrected. Apparently, when I upgraded to Ventura my Calendar delegates were copied over but not perfectly; they appeared to be there and working but they were not working at all. The solution was to remove the delegates and re-add them. Once I did that everything seemed to start working. Yay!

NOTE: I didn't respond initially because I received a message from Apple that this question had been removed from the community forums because it contained information about a beta product. So, I thought the question was not visible and didn't bother updating it. Thank you for your reply; it gave me the chance to help someone else in the same predicament in the future.

Hey there Corrado,

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. We're happy to provide some assistance.

This may seem like a simple step, but have you restarted your device? Restarting your device can resolve unexpected issues. Take a look here on how to restart your Mac:

Shut down or restart your Mac - Apple Support

If the issue persists, see if this occurs in another user account. If you do not have another user account, create a test user account. This can help us isolate the issue:

Change Users & Groups settings on Mac - Apple Support

If you continue having the issue in a test user account as well, reach out to Apple directly to investigate:

Have a great day!
