Does Apple Mail Support Group Inbox with with Custom Domain?

Apple Mail is not mandatory but all users are using Apple devices and Apple Mail now supports custom domains, so its a desirable solution. Another non-MS Exchange solution would be acceptable.

I have never heard of a group mailbox in the Mail.app mail client...this sounds more like an enterprise or exchange type environment.
