emergency bypass not working

I saw an earlier question on this, and it does not look like there was a resolution. I’m wondering if there is any update. I have had both of my children on emergency bypass since they’ve had phones. It all of a sudden stopped working. I have confirmed that emergency bypass toggle is still on for both of them for both text and ringtone. I have tried turning my phone off and then back on again, editing their contact information to remove emergency bypass and then turning the phone off. Turning it back on, and resetting emergency bypass. Nothing works. There is no issue with the volume or him being able to hear music or anything else when the phone is on silent.

Hi there ejd1325,

You've done some great troubleshooting so far! If you're not receiving notifications from specific contacts while your iPhone is silenced, we'd recommend enabling Emergency Bypass for another contact for testing. Does the same behavior occur?

If not, have you tried recreating one of the affected contacts to see if the behavior persists? Check out: Add and use contact information on iPhone - Apple Support This can help us to determine if there may be a specific issue with those contacts, rather than the Emergency Bypass feature itself.

If the behavior persists with a new contact card created, you'll want to reach out to Apple Support directly for further assistance. This link will help you get started: Contact - Official Apple Support

Take care.
