icloud calendar recurring meetings

When I create a recurring meeting in Outlook 365 it shows up correctly but when it syncs with iCloud, all the meetings are 1 day early. I have verified all the date and time settings and even that the 1st day of the week is the same in both. I have seen others with this issue but no resolutions. Anyone have a response for this?

Some additional information:

When I create a recurring meeting in Outlook 365 it

-shows up correctly in Outlook

-is 1 day early in iCloud calendar

-is 1 day early in iPhone calendar (since this syncs directly to iCloud calendar that makes sense)

When I create a recurring meeting in iCloud calendar or iPhone calendar

-everything syncs correctly everywhere

I have verified all the date and time settings on all platforms and even that the 1st day of the week is the same in all. This tells me that the issue is with the Outlook/iCloud sync.

I have seen others with this issue but no resolutions. Does anyone have a response for this?

Mike, did you get an outcome re this? I am AUS based and this has started happening to me too but I noticed it the other way. When I create a recurring meeting in iCloud it;

  • shows up correctly in iCloud
  • is 1 day early in Outlook calendar
  • is 1 day early in iPhone calendar (but as this syncs directly to iCloud calendar this makes no sense)

And further, it only seems to affect invites on Mon/Tue/Wed/Thu/Fri. Weekend recurring invites work...
