Hello c_007,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities!

We want to help so you can allow those apps for your child when using Screen Time.

Use these steps:

"Manage Screen Time settings

Go to Settings > Screen Time. Then tap See All Activity, select a category in the list below and set limits. You can manage these settings with Screen Time:

Always Allowed

always allowed

You might want to access certain apps, even if it's downtime or if you set the All Apps & Categories app limit. Phone, Messages, FaceTime, and Maps are always allowed by default, but you can remove them if you want."

By adding these two apps to the Always Allowed section, they will not be restricted like the other apps per your request.

We hope this helps to get the most from Screen Time on your device.

Cheers!
