Apple Pay returned purchase, but the credit isn't showing on my account.

I returned an item purchased with Apple Pay, the store gave me the credit on the same account but I did not tap my phone to the reader. The credit did not show on my account, what should I do?

Welcome to the Apple Community.


If the store gave the credit, seems your refund might take several days to appear on your card statement.


If necessary, you may need to visit / contact the store again, about your refund,

or

if the store has processed the refund ok ... check with your card-provider about the delay.

For the most accurate record of your transactions:

you would need to refer to the credit or debit statement(s) from your bank or card issuer.
