My MacBook is slow to wake up.
I think this is actually a profile issue, but I can't seem to resolve it.
Whenever I wake my MacBook up from inactivity...
- It takes a lot of effort to get it to recognize I want it to wake up. I tap keys, tap the mouse, wiggle the mouse for about 10-15 seconds before the screens even come back to life.
- It takes a long time to get to the point that I can credential my way back into my MacBook. Once the screens respond, I get a progress bar that takes a while to process. This is not the progress bar I get when I boot the MacBook up initially, the one with the Apple logo. This one appears on top of my desktop background. No Apple logo, but other than that, it behaves like the one when you boot up your Mac.
- I have to enter my password. Despite having defined using my fingerprint reader and my watch to authenticate my way back in, I have to enter my password every time.
This all began when I tried to use my MacBook for work. I enrolled it in InTune which in turn loaded several profiles and created several restrictions, including this one. The restrictions were ultimately too much, and I disenrolled my MacBook from InTune and deleted all my work configurations. I've looked in System Settings, Privacy & Security, Profiles and all of the Profiles are now gone. All of the restrictions are gone with them, except this one. I'm hoping it's a configuration somewhere that I have yet to find. I really don't want to have to reload my MacBook.
Any suggestions are much appreciated.
Thanks.
