Using Tracfone as your cellular carrier on ipad

Be aware that no wifi plus cellular ipad can even connect to any cellular service providers cellular voice telephone spectrum. And ipad is not capable of that and cannot function as a standalone cellular telephone.

iPads are data only devices. Wifi plus cellular iPads can connect to the internet over a cellular data connection, but they cannot connect to the cellular telephone voice spectrum.

If tracfone offers data only cellular plans they may work for internet data with an ipad, so check with them. But an ipad cannot use tracfone’s cellular telephone service.
