Macbook Air frequently going into sleep mode/black screen when using

Hi all. The screen on my Air has started going black, like in sleep mode, when I'm actually using it and I have to press a key or two for it to come back. Not sure if connected, but this did start when the battery was failing a while back but I have a new one now and it's still doing it. It's also random when the odd day it does it a lot and others not at all. Does anyone have any idea, please? The latest one, just a moment ago, was also a bit different. As the screen came back, it momentarily had the spots like an untuned TV from the past.

Hello!

You may have a hot corner enabled. You can use the corners of the screen as hot corners, to quickly start actions when you move the pointer to a corner. For example, you can start the screen saver when you move the pointer to the top-left corner of the screen, or lock the screen when you move the pointer to the top-right corner.

You may have one accidentally set to put the display to sleep. To check, see:

If no hot corners are enabled, let us know.
