Hello TracepPL,

Thanks for the additional details. If the songs were manually synced to the device through iTunes on a computer, then the only way to get those files on the new phone would be to connect it to whatever computer has those files on it.

If you have a new computer, you can migrate backup and move your iTunes Library with these steps: Back up and restore your iTunes library on your PC

If it's a Mac, you can use Migration Assistant to move the iTunes Library over: Move content to a new Mac

If you no longer have access to the computer that has these music files on it, then you would need to re-import those CD's to the computer you're currently using now and then sync them to the phone.

You can also use the Apple Music service, which gives you access to Apple's full catalog of music if you're trying to avoid manually syncing with a computer all together: Apple Music

Cheers!

Hello TracepPL,

That's a wonderful question! Were these songs purchased from iTunes? If so, the purchases should transfer to your iPhone 13 Pro Max during setup. There are several options available for transferring content to your new device, one of which is using Quick Start as outlined below. You can also find these steps outlined in the following article.

  1. "Make sure that your current device is connected to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth is on. Turn on your new device and place it near your current device. Follow the onscreen instructions to get started. If the prompt to set up your new device disappears from your current device, restart both devices.
  2. Connect your device to Wi-Fi or your device's cellular network.
  3. You might be asked to activate your cellular service.
  4. Set up Face ID or Touch ID.
  5. Choose how you want to transfer your data.
    • If you download from iCloud, your apps and data download in the background so that you can start using your new device right away.
    • If you transfer directly from your previous device, you'll need to wait for the transfer to complete on both devices before you can use them.

6.Keep your devices near each other and plugged in to power until the data migration process is complete. Transfer times can vary based on factors such as network conditions and the amount of data being transferred."

Use Quick Start to transfer data to a new iPhone or iPad

Another options that may be available is subscribing to Apple Music or iTunes Match, then enabling Sync Library. You can learn more about syncing your library across your devices via the following article.
