MacBook Pro Trackpad giving different levels of haptics on presses

Just started having an issue with the trackpad of my Macbook Pro, suddenly, the magic trackpad started giving different levels of haptics on press. It's not all random, gives a hard haptic for a few minutes then goes back to normal, and then it happens all over again. Checked the settings and everything looks normal, also played with the trackpad options a bit, fixed the issue for a little while after playing with the click stiffness for a few seconds but it's back at it again. Anyone else having the same issue? Using MacOS 13.0.1 on a 2018 touchbar Macbook pro
