Keyboard Type not recognized

Hello, i recently bought a new mouse and it's working fine with my macbook.

When i plugged it in, it' prompt the keyboard association for some reason (where you have to press a key on the keyboard).

Now my keyboard is bound with a wrong format (if i want to type > it types |)

If i try to associate it again, and i press the key on the keyboard a message will pop "you are pressing the apple keyboard, press the key on the external keyboard instead) (or something like that) but i AM pressing it on the external one.

Now for extra spice, if i press "Keyboard settings" it will open the Bluetooth settings for some reason i can't even get the "press a key on the keyboard" thing again.

I tried unplugging everything and replugging, restarting my mac.

Thanks!

I'll add another thing.

It appears that the problem is the wifi dongle of the new mouse.

If i plug it in, MacBook thinks that it's a keyboard and will try the "press the key button thing"

It does not happen if i connect it with the wire.

I think that the wrong association of the dongle with a keyboard messed it up.

I have now connected the mouse with a wire, how do i reset the keyboard?
