WiFi issues following update to iOs16.1.1

iPhone 12

I installed the update to 16.1.1 yesterday but don't get the WiFi logo any more and can't connect to internet via WiFi. Settings shows that I'm connected to my WiFi.

All other devices (all Android) still connecting OK and able to access the internet

I've tried re-setting Network Settings and rebooting the iPhone but no luck.

Is there a roll-back, fix or further update?

iPhone 12, 16

Glad you found a solution to your problem.

I disabled my VPN, did a hard reboot, a reset of network settings and deleted reset my WiFi connection along with several other suggested fixes. None of that worked.

I think a way to get an iptrace would be helpful. Then I could match what the phone sees to what the router sees. IOS does not seem to be reporting the problems just hanging, which is not user friendly.
