Is there a way to hide the tab and url bars?

They’re taking up too much screen space and it’s extremely obnoxious and unnecessary.

With a 16 inch MacBook I shouldn’t have trouble viewing things but the url box and tab bar combined takes a literal inch of screen space.

Plus the centimetre at the top with the options combined can’t be something they actually thought people would be ok with.

In your case, it seems to me you would prefer to use windows over tabs.

With only one window there has to be a way to select which tab you want to open, and it you don't want all of them (or even a tab group) to appear then just open new pages in new windows instead. You can swipe back and forth between them, or cycle among open windows with a key combination.

One more thing — you don't need to display the Mac's menu bar all the time either. That setting is found in Change Dock & Menu Bar preferences on Mac - Apple Support. If you do that, you will definitely maximize your screen "real estate"... until Apple decides to build Macs with bigger screens (like they used to).

Lol what? No I don’t wish to have to search each window to find what I’m looking for again 😂

John, I showed you a picture. I found my answer, yours was not what I asked.

But I wanted to know more about your suggestion of hiding the url bar entirely so the distance of usable space between the top of the monitor and the bottom is greater.
