Apple Studio Display Missing Color Profile Selection

For reference, I am running 12.6.1 Monterey

The computer is a Mac Studio (2022)

Apple M1 Ultra

128GB Ram

I am trying to keep the new Apple Studio Display monitor calibrated every week using i1Studio. In the past every used display had some form of drop down menu to select a working color profile, even currently we are using BenQ secondary displays and this menu still exists. The problem is that the Apple Studio Display Monitors do not have this drop down menu. Various situations resets the Studio Displays to default. Because of the missing Color Profile selection, I now have to re-calibrate the Studio Displays every time they get reset, which is time consuming. I found the hidden folder with XRite's icc profiles and even tried to import one using the import presets tool in the Displays section of System Preferences (see attached images), however, this does not work. Does anyone have a solution for this missing drop down menu?

Hey there DigiTech19,

Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities. To get started, we do want to let you know that this is expected behavior, only certain Mac models and displays use color profiles. Other Mac models and displays such as the Apple Studio Display would use built-in reference modes instead.

You can find this information listed in this link here: Change your Mac display’s color profile - Apple Support

Note: Certain Mac models use built-in reference modes rather than color profiles. If you have a Pro Display XDR, an Apple Studio Display, a 14-inch MacBook Pro (2021), or a 16-inch MacBook Pro (2021), see Change Displays settings.

For the best list of available display settings you can change on your Apple Studio Display, check out this link here: Change Displays settings on Mac - Apple Support

We hope that's able to help.

Have a great day!
