MacBook screen display

How can I fix this display issue, it appears like there’s a different shade on my screen that’s creating that sort of line.

Does the same thing happen with any app window displayed in that section of the screen (different colors can hide or enhance such issues)? My first guess is an issue with the laptop's display. Take a screenshot to see whether the issue exists in the screenshot. If viewing the screenshot on the same laptop, then make sure to slide the screenshot to the side away from the area in question so the screenshot & display issue don't overlap. Or view the screenshot on an external display or another device. If the screenshot appears Ok, then you have confirmed the issue is with the laptop's built-in Display which will need to be repaired.

That is a very poor quality photo as it is very grainy due to the lighting conditions. Also, it would help if you rotate the photo to its proper orientation before posting it here. iPhones/iPads have the ability to "Edit" photos so you can rotate them if they end up turned 90 degrees (very annoying iOS devices do this so often). Plus macOS has the "Preview" app where you can also rotate pictures to correct their orientation.
