how to change anydesk id?

Migration Assistant cloned the anydesk id when moving to a new macbook pro. So now I have the same anydesk ID on two laptops, the old one and the new one.

This same question was asked at how to change anydesk id? There was one reply referring to this article, which doesn't answer the question: https://www.technobezz.com/how-to-change-anydesk-id/ . It says you can't change the address for a free account. But surely there's a way to wipe the information and just do a fresh install. I searched for and deleted relevant system files and folders. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it. But still the cloned anydesk ID keeps coming back.
