Why do certain phone calls say “silenced call” when they come in and I can’t answer it?

Why do I keep getting phone calls that say silenced call and then I cannot answer the phone call?

Thank you for reaching out in Apple Support Communities. You may have the feature called, "Silence Unknown Callers" turned on. You can temporarily turn it off and see if you can answer the incoming calls. To locate this feature on your iPhone, you can go to Settings > Phone.
