I have an iphone with a hardware display issue. How can i identify the IMEI of the device apart from SIM tray as same can be removed from device and can be swapped?

You can log in to https://appleid.apple.com with the Apple ID used on the iPhone, and you may be able to see the serial number and maybe IMEI in the "Devices" section.

You cannot. There is no other location for the IMEI number on an iPhone 13 Pro Max except the sim tray and in Settings.

If you cannot access the device, and you don't trust the tray, then there's not much more that can be done.

You can contact your service provider with your phone number and they may be able to give you the IMEI number of the device that is using that service plan and number.
