Keylogger on iPhone

I recently found out my exboyfriend put keylogger on my iPhone. So far, the only way to remove it, that I know of, is to factory reset my phone, which wouldn’t be a big deal if I could back it up onto iTunes.

So, my question is, will backing up my iPhone into iTunes also back up the keylogger? If so, will this infect my laptop? And, will the keylogger be reinstalled on a new phone or my factory reset iPhone?
