After updating into IOS 16.1, Apple SD card reader is not showing neither in Photos nor in Files. But my iPhone which is 11 pro 256 GB is detecting the SD card reader in the About section of the settings. I am a photographer. This is very important for me to work. Please help !

I'm having the same problem, however, there still is not a "no name" option for me when I go to the browsing option. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm getting pretty frustrated.
The automatic import to the photos app no longer works. This worked for me...iPad Air3 IOS 17.3.1
Copy the pictures into a folder on the SD card if you are using a PC as the source, a camera will automatically put the pictures into a folder. Plug the SD card and reader into your iPad, open the files app, there should now be a folder called "untitled" or "unnamed". Open this folder, you should now see the folder containing your pictures. Open this, all your pictures will be displayed as thumbnails. Select/select all the ones you want. Hit share at the bottom of the screen, then select save image. This will save the images onto your iPad and make them visible in the photos app.
I also had the same problem. My iPhone 11 OS 16.2 did not recognize 5 different SD cards through my SD reader. Very frustrating.

Actually, I turned off my iPhone and then turned it on. Plugged my sd reader and then added the address card and now it’s working. I can see photos in the photos app and the files app.

click untitled in files app under browse and it will be under that tab.
Hey it works, just turn off your phone then click files and you’ll see there’s NO NAME
Any update sir ? I use a go pro and sort through it via a small adapter instead of using my computer and now all of a sudden mine isn’t working anymore either

I still use my poor man dongle idea and it works for me , maybe I’ll try again since the small update and a reset
I solved this problem.
for me, I downloaded SD Card Formatter and did a full format of the card. Now it’s being read again.

If possible, format it for MacOS compatibility. That helped me a lot.
