MBP build-in display stopped working after upgrading to Ventura

After I updated my Macbook Pro (15-inch 2018 model with touchbar) to Ventura the display is completely blank / not working anymore :-( Needless to say prior to the upgrade the display was working 100%


I tried all the online methods recommended to reset etc. without any luck. I am however able to boot into Ventura and when connecting to an external display I am able to use the mac as per normal.


Please advise if anyone know about a fix or are experiencing the same issue.
