Canon hasn't released drivers for this scanner that support Ventura yet. Try the macOS 12 drivers I can't imagine that things changed so radically as to break printer drivers. Maybe... But maybe not.

Cannot load driver for Canon ImageFormula R40 scanner on MacBook Air Purchased a Canon scanner ImageFormula R40 to scan many business documents. At first I had trouble because the Mac kept saying the CaptureOnTouch app was damaged, no matter how many times I replaced it. I called Canon and they also added a Twain app and we got it to work. But even with the IT Canon person on the phone, we could not get the driver to read. The error message says "cannot load driver". My Mac Booker is last year's purchase and the OS is Sonoma 14.7.2 with the M2 2022 chip. I have the Canon scanner USB plugged into my hub because the Mac BookAir does not have any USB ports. Can anyone help? I need to get this working urgently for a current project. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

How to install the Canon LBP2900 on max OSX El Capitan? Hey there, I was fourced to reinstall my Macbook due to some hardware-changes. Before that I was using the Canon LBP2900 as printer and it worked great. There was a work around to get the LBP2900 running on a "old" / "new" machine. I found this thread: Canon LBP 2900 Printer Driver for Mac OS … - Apple Community But it is closed, no more questions allowed. The two links provided there are not working anymore. Could anyone help me? The LBP2900 is still working and it is to good to went to rubish. Any chance to get in touch with McBIP the autor of the old thread? KR doubbletry
