I followed the directions on this site to remove Player Location Check, but they aren't working. I cannot get the application to quit in the Activity Monitor. Someone please help. This thing just showed up on my computer this afternoon.

If this is in regards to the GeoComply Player Location Check plugin, you should be able to uninstall it using the steps below:
To uninstall the GeoComply plugin:
1. Click the Apple menu and select System Preferences.
2. Locate the Player Location Check icon in the bottom row of the System Preferences window.
3. Right click on the Player Location Check icon and click Remove Player Location Check Preference Pane.

If you still aren't able to uninstall that plugin, do you get any prompts or errors when you attempt to complete those steps?
