Apple One - Payment for privacy

Dear Forum,

im enjoying Apple One, except for the privacy. As head of the household I’m happy to pay. Recently, A family member purchased an app that was personal to them. The cost is not the issue, or the payment method, but every family member should have the ability to have some secrets. The app in question dealt with mental well being.

Here’s a hypothetical. My son downloads Grindr (a gay dating app) and subscribes, on my credit card, but he is not openly gay. How as part of the family payment system can he hide this from me/pay for it himself. Everyone is entitled to their privacy, and I’m concerned that the Apple One payment system is too intrusive.

it’s probable that I’ve missed something and look forward to being educated by the forum, thank you in advance.

- "When you hide an app, it won't appear in your list of purchases in the App Store. If you use Family Sharing, the app also won't appear in family members' purchases and won't be available for family members to redownload. But the app will still appear in your purchase history."

As for hiding it from an Organizer, I do not use Family Sharing but I believe if he were to have sufficient personal balance to pay for the app entirely then the card owner/Organizer would not receive a receipt for the charge.
