Apple Watch - ankle strap

Hi, I would like to know if the Apple Watch will record an ECG whilst being worn on the ankle? I work for the NHS therefore need to be 'bear below the elbows' at work. I would like to be able to monitor my HR and ECG due to new health concerns. Thanks in advance.

I think you have a chance with Heart Rate as it looks a blood density changes, but I think you have very little chance with ECG . Even if you could easily bend down to touch the crown it would not make the same circuit. I doubt if your profession would let you attach 3 lead ECG stickies anywhere that takes your fancy.

Consider upper arm with a third party long strap for HRM.
