Viber notifications

Anyone still having problems with getting notifications from Viber? I read previous complaints since 15.3 update however mine started recently when I upgraded my phone and 16.1 update. I tried what someone recommended by turning off notifications in the Viber app but not in phone Settings and this sort of worked with me getting the “number” notification on my app however not on my locked screen but then the next message I did not get until I opened the app.

anyone else have any other suggestions or things that worked for them? (I removed and re-downloaded the app twice, reset my phone several times, and nothing seems to work). Spam group notifications I get 🤦🏻‍♀️.

Thank you

iPhone 13 Pro, iOS 16

Have you enabled Scheduled Summary?

Settings > Notifications > [Select the App that you are having trouble receiving immediate notifications]

See the pic below for a few examples. Please select immediate delivery.

Go to Settings and tap Notifications. Select an app under Notification Style. Under Alerts, choose the alert style that you want. If you turn on Allow Notifications, choose when you want the notifications delivered — immediately or in the scheduled notification summary.

Use notifications on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

Change notification settings on iPhone

  1. Go to Settings > Notifications.
  2. To schedule a notifications summary, tap Scheduled Summary, then turn on Scheduled Summary. ...
  3. To choose when you want most notification previews to appear, tap Show Previews, select an option—Always, When Unlocked, or Never—then tap.
