Camera still shooting in HEIC not JPEG despite "Most Compatible" setting on in Camera > Settings > Format
I have had Settings > Camera > Formats set to Most Compatible and not High Efficiency since the first software update to unveil .heic. Yet despite that, my phone constantly takes .heic photos and even screenshots in this format. I check the settings over and over. Most compatible is still checked.
This is similar to the ghost album that doesn't exist on my phone that plays every time my car turns on, despite also having car play off.
Apple, what gives? I do not want .heic images. Ever! I want jpegs! Is there some other setting somewhere I'm not aware of? This is beyond frustrating.
