accidental (pocket) dial on iphone

I am natorious for pocket dialing- the cause is I have the habit of using my "recents" list to call back missed or recent calls - as soon as I go to put the phone down I tap on any one of the numbers on the list and boom! Im pocket dialing - I understand that Apple not set up to disable this feature, but why not add a feature where it takes two taps or a "are you sure you want to call?" It would sure save me a lot splaining - literally have of my text messages are "sorry, didnt mean to call you" - at lest 2-3 per week!!!
