Hello,
thanks for the reply.
I confirm I do have iCloud active for Notes.
the case is a bit different from what (I see) you are considering.
i have NOT lost an existing note. Existing notes are synched very well between devices almost “live” while I create them. No issues with that.
this problems happened like this:
I am handwriting a note, scroll down and keep writing until I have an extensive handwritten note. First the app starts to slow down, especially when scrolling or switching from a pencil tool to another, then I noticed some “confusion” from the app in recognising the pencil and the hand/finger, the app’s window eventually closed. This does not mean that the app crashed, the window closed as if I closed it with a ‘finger up’ from the bottom of the screen, note that I did not do that, it probably misread the movement of my hand. When I opened the window again, part of the content was lost.
i checked the same note on all my other devices and the last part of hand notes was missing everywhere.
my feeling is that ‘all the content wrote in a raw…’ has gone. Maybe it did not have enough time to synch… I do not know, but this should not happen. Especially with handwritten notes and especially with notes. In this case could easily re-do the writing (it was a summary) and I only lost time in the end… but
imagine I am taking notes at a meeting… I could not go back and all relevant info would be lost….
I am now afraid this could happen again.
I hope this info will help to find the issue.
