Other that looking directly at the Landord's device, then no. There is no verification possible with that method of payment. No 3rd party can access the transactions. You yourself would have a record of your own transaction in your own Apple Cash account and as would the landlord in theirs.
It's a person to person payment mechanism, just like giving your landlord cash. Can a third party verify that you gave the landlord cash? You should always have your landlord provide a confirmation that the money has been received.
