Airpod Pro problems

My airpod Pro's wont stay in my ears. I've tried every ear tip and they just dont work for me, they fall out within minutes. I really love the features of them but the old airpods fit my ears perfectly. the 3rd gen airpods have most of the features and seem to have the new style but without the gummy part. do these fit more like the original airpod or will i have trouble with those as well?

Greetings sims_4_life123,

We appreciate you reaching out on Apple Support Communities! We definitely want to do everything we can to get those AirPods Pro to fit for you. You mentioned that the AirPods Pro won't stay in your ears, do you recall if you completed the Ear Tip Fit Test during set up? Since this can typically resolve issues with the fit of your AirPods Pro, it would be a fantastic step to try:

Choose your AirPods Pro ear tips and use the Ear Tip Fit Test - Apple Support

"You can use the Ear Tip Fit Test if you're not sure that you're getting the best possible sound quality and noise cancellation. Choose a comfortable fit with a good seal.

  1. With your AirPods Pro in your ears and connected to your iPhone or iPad, go to Settings > Bluetooth.
  2. Tap the More Info button  next to your AirPods in the list of devices.
  3. Tap Ear Tip Fit Test. If you don't see the Ear Tip Fit Test, make sure that you have iOS or iPadOS 13.2 or later.
  4. Tap Continue, then tap the Play button .

If the test suggests adjusting or trying a different ear tip, try adjusting your AirPods Pro and testing again. Then try a different size. You might need different sizes for your left and right ears."

In addition, the article provided includes steps for how to change out the ear tips in the event you find that the fit isn't quite correct when using the test mentioned above. It also provides information on how to determine which size you're currently using with your AirPods Pro.

In regards to your question about the AirPods (3rd generation), we would not be able to provide any insight, since each person's ear is different and what may be a good fit for someone else, may not be the best fit for you.

Let us know if that helps!

Thanks.
