We'd like to help get the Recently Played section of Apple Music updating correctly. While you may need to reach out to Apple Support about this, we'd first like to rule out what we can:


  1. Sometimes unexpected behavior can be resolved with a restart. If you're using an iPhone, check out the steps here: Restart your iPhone
  2. We see you're using an iOS device, but if you have a compatible model, the latest version is iOS 16.1.2. You can verify this within Settings > General > About. In case you needed it, this link shows how to first back up, then Update your iPhone or iPad.
  3. When did this start to occur?
  4. Does this occur whether you're using Wi-Fi, cellular, or does it happen with both signals?
