I deleted an email address and lost my contacts
I deleted an email and now my contacts are gone and I can't get it back
Contacts are managed on the email account. If you delete an account the contacts go with it. The only way to recover them from the email account is to reinstall it, or to log in to the account from another device and export the contacts, then import them to iCloud or some other email account.
