Photos in the background draining battery

For the last 2 days, my iPhone battery is drained in the morning before I even do anything other than listen to music. The battery health app shows that photos is the background is draining my battery. Why and how do I fix this? I haven’t done an upgrade recently.

Why is the battery draining fast on my iPhone 15 Pro Max? I have been using the iPhone 15 Pro Max for simple daily tasks like messaging and occasionally an hour on WhatsApp. I don’t use the camera much and activate it sporadically throughout the day. However, it seems that these simple activities are draining the battery. I don’t know what else to adjust in the system. I’m not sure if it’s the iOS 17.5.1 update, but it is draining quite fast. The smartphone is new, so it should have much better battery life. What do you suggest? [Re-Titled by Moderator]
