How to stop Safari from defaulting to opening up a specific webpage on iPhone?

Since last night, whenever I open Safari on my iPhone it automatically defaults to opening up a particular webpage instead of what it used to do, which was to open up the favourites/frequently visited sites page.


How do I stop safari from defaulting to opening up a specific webpage?

Settings > Safari > Clear History and Website Data


...and then close Safari:


Close an app on your iPhone or iPod touch
