IPad email program

Recently when touching a link in an incoming email, instead of going to a new window as directed by the link, a slim window appears with the link, too small to actually read and use. How can I get rid of the little window and have the program return to showing the link in a new BIG window? HELP!!!!

You need to explore multitasking - as you have a slide-over Safari view enabled. Key to accessing and controlling multi-tasking is the small “three-dot” button that is found at the top-centre edge of the screen or App window.
