How to change network connected to printer

It would help to know the exact printer model.

Is the iPad connected to a Wi-Fi router? Often, a router offers a WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) method with a push button or a PIN code. Many printers can use this for an easier setup.

A connection via a Wi-Fi network provided by a router (infrastructure mode) is the normal way to print from an iPad. Do not confuse this with direct Wi-Fi (where the printer has its own network).

Do you use the same wireless network for both your iPad and this printer? ... or are you saying that this printer is on another wireless network, different than the one your iPad is connected to?

Is this network or both networks being provided by an Apple AirPort or Time Capsule base station? (Hint: That's the area you posted to.)
