In Apple Mail, can I hide the headings "Favourites" & "Smart Mailboxes"
Those guys there, at the top on the left. I have no need for them, but I can't seem to hide them.

You cannot hide the headings.
Product Feedback - Apple and make it known to Apple regarding this ongoing.
It is doubtful Apple with change Monterey at this late stage of development though
Click on iCloud and drag it above Favorites. Or add iCloud to Favorites.

An aside - the current version of Monterey is 12.6.1 if not already installed
