WhatsApp Freezes on my iPhone 11 after updating status

Hello I have been having a lot of issues with my iPhone 11 , I have a lot of contacts And my WhatsApp freeze’s each time I update status sometimes it freezes for more than 30 mins which is very frustrating

I have told some of my contacts to restrict me from viewing their status still yet I’m still experiencing the same issues

please any possible solutions for it ? I need help urgently because this is affecting my business really bad and it is very frustrating 😩
