The photo you send to your Mac mini via AirDrop is stored in Home folder -> Download folder

AirDrop loses EXIF data Is there any way to AirDrop pictures while preserving EXIF and date info? Transferring photos from the iPhone to the Mac using AirDrop strips off the EXIF and other info, notably losing creation date and time and location. The sequence is: • Display or select a picture on the phone • Click the arrow-from-a-box icon (share) • Click the AirDrop icon • Available destination devices are listed • Click on one • It's sent NOTE! There are no other options or settings along the way. In another Q&A here, someone mentioned a box to "Toggle 'All photos data' to ON". There is nothing like that in this sequence. Is it somewhere else, or has it been removed?

Where do my airdrop photos go - they're not in downloads folder? Hi - when I airdrop photos from my iphone to my macbook, they used to appear in downloads folder but I can't see them there any more? When I click on the photo on my phone, I can see the airdrop symbol asking if I want to airdrop to my mac, I click on this and I can hear the little bell sound on my mac so I know it's on here somewhere (!) and on my phone it confirms the image has been 'sent' ...... but I don't know where it is ..... I've looked in photos and downloads. Any suggestions?
