Apple music on ipad will not connect and says “You’re offline…Turn off airplane mode or connect to wifi”. I am connected and airplane mode is turned off though??

Apple music on ipad will not connect and says “You’re offline…Turn off airplane mode or connect to wifi”. Apple music worked until recently and then just stopped. I am fully connected to WIFI (hence ability to post this question) and I do not have Airplane mode on. It’s frustrating reading through the non-answers being suggested by apple’s “experts” on this forum instructing customers to “connect to cellular service” to correct the issue when the issue is clearly elsewhere (wifi or airplane mode?). As far as I know cellular service is not a requirement to access the apple music library I pay for. An internet connection should is. And again, I have that.


Does anybody have an actual solution for this problem and how to get Apple music to recognize it has an internet connection?
