Since I bought my new iPhone 14 pro max I have been experiencing calling issues (microphone) when plugged in to usb which was working perfectly fine on iPhone 13 Pro Max. I tried resetting and other settings but it’s a bug in the iPhone software. I cannot use Bluetooth as my car doesn’t have CarPlay Bluetooth and when my brother iPhone X plugs in all the calls working perfectly fine except my phone I cannot hear them nor hear me.

What iOS version did you update last? Simply saying "iPhone Software" leaves a lot of doubt in my mind.
Many users who have updated to iOS 16 and above must have a similar issue if the issues stated by you are due to the iOS.
Unless you state what the issue is many in this forum may not be able to respond positively to the issue you are facing.

Which car model is this? Have you got the Car Audio checked by a reputed car dealer?
Yes it’s an Hyundai and nothing wrong with the car audio since it was working perfectly fine till I got this iPhone 14 pro max and my brother iPhone X has no microphone issues when calling
Its iOS 16.1.2 when I call someone via CarPlay they cannot hear me nor I can hear them it goes empty sound
