always on display does not work as expected

I got series 6 esim, and want to set up my Watch to always display just time with black background.

However it does not work.

When i have open any app and turn down my wrist its working partially, meaning screen gora darker and display time, but i can see there is something in the background.

when my Watch is on the main screen and i turn down my wrist it just getting darker but still displays my watchface.

Question is, how to set up my Watch to display just time when wrist is down ?

my friend got series 7 and its working for him perfectly fine

That would depend on what Watch face you are using on the Watch. If you have a number of complications, they may still show some while the face is dimmed for Always On. I use the modular face and my time, battery complication and temperature complication display dimmed, but by calendar does not show when the screen is dimmed for privacy. However, the battery status is not personal/private info, so it is not hidden. Try a different Watch face and complication. You can try the one that your friend is using that does not show personal info.
