Download/Upload speed

Is there a way to figure out download and upload speed of my Internet connection? Mac mini at home, running on a wired connection from Cable Modem to WiFi Router to computer. Just general web searches but opening web pages takes quite awhile. Already replaced the Router and am wondering if I need a Modem with multiple ports(one for router and one for computer).

Mac Mini internet speeds faster than M1 Mac Studio (both ethernet and WiFi) I've been running speed tests on my M1 Mac Studio (64 GB memory and 4TB ssd) and my Mac Mini (late 2014) and there is a significant difference in download speeds both with WiFi and Ethernet. Mac Mini download speeds: WiFi - 239Mbps; Ethernet 239 Mbps (little variability from test to test) M1 Mac Studio download speeds: Wifi - 160 to 211 Mbps; Ethernet - 60 to 88 Mbps (speeds vary significantly from test to test) Even more surprising is the fact that WiFi downloads are more than twice as fast as ethernet! Mac Studio (10GB) Ethernet Incompatibility with ATT/PACE 5268 Router--solution/workaround My new Mac Studio would not connect properly to my ATT/Pace 5268 1 GB router. The router and its cabling worked previously with an older Mac Mini with a 1GB ethernet interface. Furthermore, the Mac Studio ethernet worked perfectly when I brought in to the Apple Genius bar to evaluate the unit for a bad ethernet interface. Workaround: Place a basic 1GB+ switch between the ATT/Pace router and the 10GB Ethernet interface on the Mac Studio.

When doing large downloads, I often look at /Applications/Activity Monitor > Network > Data received/sec to verify that the speed is good and steady.
