i have a iPad 6th gen 128gb Wi-Fi. It is old and will it get damaged if I use it while charging for many HOURS?

No. The iPad's charger is actually built into the iPad itself. What you connect to it is a power adapter. As such, it shouldn't matter how long you have this adapter connected (& powered) as the iPad's charger will not allow the iPad to be overcharged.
