How do I find out what software it wants to update?

I keep getting this message when I plug my phone into my iMac. My iMac is running macOS 10.14 and running very well. I don't want to update it at this point in time. What software is the phone asking for? Thanksy iphone

Your screenshot above mentions an update to your Mac......not to your iPhone.

You need to update the Mac before you will be able to connect the iPhone to the Mac to back up, update, etc.

It's an iPhone 11Pro, running iOS 16.1.1

Previously I just plugged it into my Mac, synced it with iTunes and not had this box come up.

Is Chipset A13 the correct one? And what does that entail?

Yes I'm aware of that - I'm just wanting to know exactly what it wants to update. Will it want to go from MacOS Mojave, to Catalina? or jump to the latest one??
