iOS 16.1 battery drain

After I update my iPhone 12 Pro Max to iOS 16.1.1 my battery drains ver quickly. My battery life still 100% but it consumes over night when not in use 20% of battery. I have checked every option and everything looks ok. Does any one had this issue and how it is solved?

Hello,

With any new version of iOS there are always maintenance and re-indexing tasks to be performed. It should settle down in a few days. These are the standard steps for short battery life:

1) Have you tried a restart?  If not, do it now.

2) Go to Settings > Battery > BATTERY USAGE BY APP to see the apps that are consuming your battery.

3) Check “Battery Health” in the link:

iPhone Battery and Performance

4) If all else fails, consider a battery replacement:

iPhone Battery Service

Good luck.

Thanks for your response. I reset the settings and now works as it should be. My Battery life still 100%, but when I updated to iOS 16.1.1 it started with this issue, then I updated to iOS 16.1.2 expecting a solution for this but it didn’t work, so now I reset all configuration without deleting all my files and it works. I hope this is the final solution because the battery lasted a long time but with this issue it lasted roughly 7 to 8 hours.
